Red, White and Blueberry Cocktail

Hi Twistbandits!

I’m Jaqueleen but since we are all friends here you can call me Jaq. I am an after-hours fashion blogger , occasional accessories designer, 9-to-5 (let’s get real, it’s more like 9 am -9:30 pm) social media manager , and a proud Twistband-a-holic. For someone who constantly has her unruly hair pulled up in a top knot, I can solemnly swear that Twistbands keep it dramatically dent-free. Making good on their brand promise (novel in this day and age). I absolutely adore their brand aesthetic. They are constantly innovating and creating, which is why I am SOOO excited and honored to share some of my favorite Twistband-inspired creations with you on the blog this week! Today I wanted to give a nod to the Twistband's star set and of course America's Birthday with the perfect 4th of July cocktail.

2.Juice the melon. I used an actual juicer, but mashing up the watermelon in a large bowl and pouring the mush through a strainer works just as well. 2. Juice the melon. 5.Add fresh blueberries. Note: They won’t give the cocktail too much flavor, but they definitely add the patriotic flair you’ll need if serving this on the 4th! Plus, a little antioxidant kick if you eat them out of the bottom of your glass. 5. Add fresh blueberries.

6.Pour in 5 oz. of tequila and 8 oz. of club soda. Stir well. This is also where you can add your raw cane sugar to taste. I prefer my cocktails tart, so I left it out. You can also use the sugar to rim your glasses for a little added sweetness. 6. Pour in 5 oz. of tequila and 8 oz. of club soda. Stir well.
